Evaluation, Learning and Strategy
There is power in knowledge. We believe that evaluation can be done in ways that catalyze and empower the communities whose changes are being measured by growing their knowledge, their skills and their ability to control their story. Most nonprofit organizations and public agencies can improve their ability to measure impact and change in ways that are meaningful for the organization and among stakeholders, especially residents and participants.
We help identify goals and strategies, the indicators of success, reasonable ways to measure those indicators and, most important, communication methods that make the data meaningful. When goals are in question or strategies are not clear, we use Appreciative Inquiry methods and Theory of Change frameworks to help residents, organizations and agencies develop and articulate effective strategies.
Our methods in planning strategy create strong internal and external ownership as well as clear feedback loops.
